hello, i'm Karla and welcome to my neocities. i'm a 19 year old nonbinary-woman (they/she) with a passion for art, coding, and fashion. i've been working on this website since 2021 and have been working on it on and off. this is probably the last time i'll rework it again, because i am satisfied with the current layout of things and i have a better understanding of css and html. i was inspired by 90s-00s web design and my childhood. i hope that my page helps in keeping this little corner of the internet alive. if you want to look for webstyles or graphics in this style, look up "webcore" on pinterest. i didn't take inspiration from there, but it has a lot of screenshots from that time. this website is my baby!

some of my hobbies include listening to stephanie soo or watching old tv shows and cartoons, like malcolm in the middle or family guy, as well as drawing and crochet. i also like to collect dolls, mainly monster high dolls. i have a decent collection. i hope to add more ldd to my doll collection. sometimes i make myself busy by watching historical documentaries so i can learn new things. i reaaaally like victorian and regency era british history. i'm a big movie nerd as well and always log my movies on letterboxd. whenever i have enough money in my bank account, i like to get my nails done or thrift for cute clothes.
the games i like to play are roblox, hollow knight, animal crossing, sims 2, sims 4, my sims, minecraft, fortnite, gta 5, resident evil, animal jam, club penguin, and splatoon 3. i grew up playing roblox and have been playing it for more than a decade. my roblox account is actually 11 years old. i also grew up playing the sims. when i was 9, my dad pirated the sims 3 for me, but surprisingly, i don't like it. i like sims 2 and sims 4 the most. i got the switch version of my sims and my sims kingdom and both games are pretty fun, but i think kingdom is a better game.
my favourite movies are movies that tend to have action, thriller, heartbreak, witty humour, or a plot twist. my all time favourites are baby driver, the substance, midsommar, twilight, lucy, passangers, astro boy, clueless, mean girls, not another teen movie, marie antoinette, the notebook, la la land, the grand budapest hotel, once upon a time in hollywood, alien, or oldboy. i've rewatched the majority of these at least 3 times. i also really like evangelion, which is one of the very few animes/mangas that i enjoy.
i honestly listen to all kinds of music but i still have favourite artists and bands. they are: the garden, lana del rey, a$ap rocky, david bowie, the doors, pink floyd, arca, bjork, death grips, azealia banks, gorillaz, fleetwood mac, poppy, korn, and deftones.
i also love my dog very much. she is a beautiful little lab-pit mix and she is my soulmate.
